All children have the right to a primary education, which should be free.

No child should be treated unfairly on any basis.

Children’s education should develop each child’s personality, talents and abilities to the fullest.

It doesn’t matter where children live, what language they speak, what their parents do, whether they are boys or girls, what their culture is, whether they have a disability or whether they are rich or poor.

All children have the right to a primary education, which should be free.

Class 1 has built an own town and let the toys look around. They found a library, food market, hospital, shops, fire-brigade and a school!

What rights do we have in school? Every class discussed what was good and how we could do it better.
All pupils need to feel comfortable and have friends.
This was the start to the work about the pupils equal treatment-plan

Refugees
The refugees fight for their lives
No water to drink
No food to eat
Some die on the way to freedom

Rich and poor
Some have thousands of dollars
Others just one dollar
Some kill to survive
Others just go to the meal
Lucky us that were born in rich countries
I feel sad about the people
In the poor countries
Why is there not justice in the world

Inez och Vendela från åk 3 läste sin egen skrivna dikt på fredssamlingen hösten 2015 på fredssamlingen

Dikten Flyktingar

Inez and Vendela from year 3 read their own written poem at the pupils Peace performance in autumn 2015

The poem "The refugees"
We must do something now
Refugees come from all over the world to Sweden.
Most are worried that they are forced to go back to their country where there is war.
We need to give refugees love, food, joy and respect.
We need to give refugees
a chance!

Propaganda posters.
Students could create their own posters with something they thought was important.

Every year, our grade five students sell "Mayflowers"  in favor of families with poor finances.

Some students talked about Malala and that a pen can change the world. They also had a visitor  "The UN-bear" who talked about the conditions for children in the world.

One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.

Our week about friendship, Nobellaureate Malala and holocaust victims ended with a pupils performance in our Assembly Hall with speeches and songs from our choir

All students listened to why year 5 had planted crocuses in the park Bergsgruvan

          Physical collaboration.
.
In physical education , we have worked with collaborative exercises . Students have been building human pyramids, gone on skiis together to practise coordinating their movements and listening to the other.

In one task , students were asked to stand on a mat and turn the entire carpet without someone putting down one foot to the floor.

The purpose of this lesson is that all students will cooperate , listen and follow each other , being physically active and together solve the problem.

                      Your words matter

We discussed the meaning of democracy and citizenship. The students wrote letters to the Prime minister about things they would like to change in society and in the world. The students also practised expressing themselves through different kinds of role play.

Letter to the government

Hi! I´m a 10-and-a-half summer old boy who is a bit annoyed. Why do people, in this day and age, STILL hate black people?!  I mean, they are just like us white people! The only difference is that they are darker than us on the skin! Like, I can´t help but wonder how people still are classified as living human beings? Do they even have brains?! Probably not. Both of my best friends are black, and they are getting bullied all the time. But why?! People are calling them poop and Negro. But really, on the inside, they are just like me! And I have never been bullied in my life. So please, PLEASE, prime minister, do something about the victimization of Black people! Please! If you do, I will be the happiest person in the world.
Best of Wishes

Letter to the government

Hi! I am a twelve year old boy that has an issue!
I don’t like non-organic food!
In our school we get relatively organic food, but not enough organic. The catering that serves us food every day (fraiche catering) is trying to live up to their name (fraiche is French for fresh) but I don’t think they are trying hard enough! Many restaurants have organic food, but there are those who aren’t.
